Add Your First Printer | Ultraprint Quest
Step 1: Choose Connection Type
In the Hub, click "Add Printer" and select your connection type: USB (plugged directly), Network (Ethernet/WiFi), or Bluetooth.
Step 2: Select Printer Model
Choose your printer model from the dropdown. If your model is not listed, select "Generic Thermal" or "Generic Label" and configure dimensions manually.
Step 3: Configure Paper Size
Set the paper width (58mm, 80mm for receipts; 40mm, 50mm, 100mm for labels). The Hub auto-detects this for supported models.
Step 4: Print Test Page
Send a test print from the Hub. Verify alignment, text clarity, and cutting (if your printer has an auto-cutter).
Step 5: Map to Odoo
In Odoo, go to Point of Sale — Configuration — Printers and select your new Ultraprint printer. Assign it to POS sessions or work centers.

Which printers work with Ultraprint?
Most ESC/POS thermal printers (Epson, Star, Bixolon), Zebra label printers, and generic Chinese thermal printers.
My printer is not detected
Ensure the printer is powered on and connected. For USB, try a different port. For network, verify the IP address. For Bluetooth, ensure pairing is complete.
Can I use a wireless printer?
Yes. Network printers (WiFi or Ethernet) are fully supported. Enter the printer IP address in the Hub.
What paper sizes are supported?
Receipts: 58mm and 80mm. Labels: 40mm, 50mm, 60mm, 100mm. Custom sizes can be configured manually.
Do I need special drivers?
No. The Hub includes built-in drivers for all supported printers. Windows users may need to install the printer once via Windows Settings for USB detection.
