Yes, Ultraprint queues printing jobs offline and will continue printing for 24 hours in the event of an internet drop, including from mobile devices and tablets.

The printing goes directly through your LAN/Odoo server. However, the desktop client requires an internet connection for settings (e.g., adding or removing printers/devices).

Yes, but only for printing functionality. It is perfect if your primary need is to eliminate the IoT Box for printing purposes.

Ultraprint supports receipt printing from POS, kitchen order tickets, works with cloud-hosted Odoo Enterprise, and is compatible with all Windows-compatible printers. It also supports mobile and tablet printing (with a desktop hub).
Ultraprint cannot replace the IoT Box for other device interfaces, including barcode scanners, weighing scales, payment terminals, measurement tools, customer displays, cashdrawer opening, or for "mobile only" printing. If you need any of these, you will still require the IoT Box or an alternative solution.
